Google Wallet x OnlyNY Pop-Up
In introducing and launching Google Wallet, the MAS team aimed to create a frictionless user experience that built product awareness among NYC commuters. Google iconized the launch with a unique partnership with NYC-local lifestyle brand, OnlyNY. This experience was a one-stop shop for NYC-branded tees and hoodies along with some limited edition swag only available at this pop-up in none other than the busy station of Grand Central Terminal.

Climate Strong Communities (CSC) 

At One Architecture and Urbanism, I'm currently spearheading the design of highly anticipated final reports for NYC's Climate Strong Communities initiative. My innovative approach to visualizing environmental justice work across five boroughs has been praised for transforming complex resilience concepts into compelling visual narratives. Through expertly designed community workshops and inter-agency collaboration sessions, I create immersive engagement experiences that connect diverse stakeholders to place-based solutions. This forthcoming publication showcases my ability to craft strategic visual storytelling for impactful public initiatives.

Air Drop
Air Drop investigates the notion of ‘lightness’ in creating growing spatial conditions. A breathable ceiling re-examines the contrasting nature of air; despite being intangible, it can become a force strong enough to deform a surface and have a gravitational impact. The performative installation operated with an economy of means, suggesting lightness in its minimal construction, as new spaces are born. The ritual mimicked the cyclical growth of a human belly, changing from a visual scene to a physical object in conversation with the visitors. Visitors were asked to observe and embody the effects of air as they took a pause from the outside world.

Precarious
The medium of print is a precarious one—increasingly digitized, environmentally conscious, acutely aware of its own structural and material conditions. Readers, then, are left to decide the status not only of print, but entire states, sectors and economies in a way that is difficult to describe or represent, yet relies almost entirely on visibility and spectacle to “break the news”. Under this regime of visibility, what structures and standings can we use to affirm these material effects—its cracks, its fissures, its breaks—to better understand its intentions?

Visitors were allowed to stand on slabs and break them.

With an architectural foundation from the University of Florida and advanced design training from Harvard University, Shane works at the intersection of space, story, and strategy. His practice spans experiential design for global brands, exhibition curation, architectural education, and climate resilience initiatives.&#38;nbsp;
Shane's approach is characterized by a unique ability to bridge conceptual thinking with technical execution, developing strategic frameworks that guide creative implementation across diverse contexts. Whether designing immersive retail environments, curating exhibitions, or creating visual narratives for public engagement, his work is united by a commitment to thoughtful storytelling and spatial innovation.
